Rhonda Draper; Chair

Rhonda is the Month of Love founder and fearless leader.    She is an educator, presenter, performer and materials developer specializing in integrating music and movement into the learning process.     With over 20 years as a teacher, Rhonda’s passion is helping kids reach their full potential.    With the Month of Love program, she can help kids in need internationally as well.    Rhonda and her husband ….are the proud parents of 2 kids………and is proud to call Kelowna her home.

Sheldon Gardiner; Advisor/Supporter

Sheldon is a partner at Mission West Capital, a Kelowna based private equity firm.    Mission West Capital is focused on for profit companies however Sheldon’s real passion is helping social entrepreneurs and social changemakers achieve their goals and change the world.    He was inspired by Rhonda’s speech at TedX Kelowna 2012, her life story and her work.   Since then, has been a mentor, business coach and sponsor of Month of Love.     Sheldon and his wife Shauna have young 2 kids and developing compassion in them fits perfectly with the Month of Love program.
